Completing an A level in fine Art has helped me to experiment with different media such as collage, photography and printmaking, as well as an iPad. I am now part of a printmaking group and am enjoying linocut and monoprint.
Visiting the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Ashmolean, Oxford I was inspired by the colourful flower prints. For Open Studios I have produced a set of acrylic paintings of flowers based on photographs; some taken in my garden.
I hope to continue to develop my art in a variety of ways but am sure that landscape will be at the heart of it. I am particularly fortunate to be in an area surrounded by such lovely countryside as well as the landscape garden at Stowe.
